The type of donations we seek never come in the form of “asking for something for nothing in return.” Instead, the donations that we seek come in the form of an “Exchange of Equity.” For example, if we are searching for the finances to fund our new construction builds, the type of donation we seek will come in the form of an investor, private group, or individual who will fund the project for a double digit return on their investment capital, secured by real estate and a Deed of Trust. This is how we “pay our way.” At the same time, their investment and direct involvement helps us to create the equity that allows us to continue building more homes to share with the families who desperately need them.

Another example of the type of donations we seek comes in the form of an exchange of equity for equipment, building materials, counsel or partnerships that “add more momentum,” finances and credibility to our movement. The donations we seek come as a business owner, larger builder, or private group who will donate the equipment they no longer need through “seller financing” it to us.

Further examples would be Licensed General Contractors, Plumbers, Electricians, Framers, Roofers, Drywall Installers, etc., who want to donate their skill sets to several projects for a portion of the profits (after they are refinanced or sold), a landowner or investor who will donate vacant, abandoned or distressed property, or lots of land he/she no longer wants or needs for the express purpose of creating equity for our projects.

As you can see, in these instances, an unwavering commitment accompanies our idea of donations to share the profits of our endeavors with everyone who desires to contribute equitably to the lives of those who desperately need it the most. Not only does this ensure that it will fully compensate you for your involvement, but it is also our way of demonstrating our appreciation for your support, of saying, “Thank You” for helping us to uplift and change the world.
