I hear it all the time: “What if we can build our way to affordable housing? What if, in fact, building is the only path to affordable housing? What if cities around the world have been building their way to affordability for decades?”
The answer is: We can. It is. And they have.
We have developed a unique prototype model that directly addresses the dire need for affordable housing across 90% of the country at a controlled price point that does not change regardless of the economy or market fluctuations. If it sounds too good to be true, then read on.
Having created a series of lower-cost single family prototype models that are 35% cheaper to build per unit, without sacrificing quality, and can be built 50% to 60% faster than traditionally constructed homes by our teams focused on a proprietary accelerated building methodology for rapid completion.
We will be able to add 500 to 1000 affordable homes a year to any city’s current affordable housing supply. This is the way to stabilize the imbalance caused by the demand even during the worst market fluctuations.

Yes, it is that simple: We can build our way to affordable housing. Aside from economic decline, depopulation and gentrification, it is the only strategy that actually works. In order to increase our affordable housing supply on a scale that will meet the demand, we have to build homes in great abundance, because without that, other affordability strategies can be fruitless or counterproductive. Building plenty of housing is not just one way to affordability, it is the only way—it is the foundation on which other affordability solutions, measures against displacement, and programs for inclusion rest.
